The European Master in Renewable Energy is an initiative proposed and developed by the association of European Renewable Energy Research Centres (EUREC) and a consortium of European Universities.

The programme has been run since 2002 by a network of nine European Universities and research centres who are leading the way in renewable energy research, development and demonstration. It is coordinated by EUREC EEIG, a consortium of European renewable energy research centres, which has its headquarters in Brussels, http://www.master.eurec.be.

CRES participates in the implementation of EUREC master in collaboration with the Technical University of Athens, NTUA.

Within the course students visited CRES Wind Farm and the Park of Energy Awareness, PENA and informed on the technologies and on the projects impelemented by CRES at the wind farm.
